The first season is based on the multi-awarded short film "Lara and Gael" by Rodrigo Bernardo. MisMatches (DesEncontros) was entirely shot in Santos, São Paulo, with the original soundtrack "Um Dia A Gente Se Encontra" by the biggest Brazilian rock band, Charlie Brown Jr.
